Our beginnings are modest compared to many other gift companies and began as a hobby and rose out of the necessity to NOT fill our garage with large wood working projects LOL.
While building furniture for sale, it became apparent very quickly that we would run out of room. Our house and garage would be over flowing if we continued building furniture.
It was decided, well actually it was demanded that we, meaning me, find smaller projects or get a new hobby!
I began my quest to find smaller projects when I stumbled on scroll sawing as a hobby. I began to make various framed creations such as Ships, animals and other “fret work” items.
Over time, I became more interested in making puzzles and puzzle related products. Thankfully, this satisfied the demand which was dictated and J and J Woodables a Local Panama City Florida business was born!
Now, our entire family is involved in the business!

Our products are hand made, hand cut and therefor unique by design and we offer customization’s on most of our products!
We do not use automation to make our creations, such as CnC machines (computer numerical control).
For those not aware, CnC is a manufacturing process which employs computerized controls and machine tools to remove layers of material (wood in our case) from a stock piece. This stock piece is known as the blank or work piece and produces a custom-designed part. Each part can then on demand, be re-created exactly as the original. Unlike our products where each piece is unique in itself and can not be duplicated exactly.
